Being a dog parent is a big responsibility. It isn't like owning a plant or deciding to pick up some salsa lessons. It is parenthood. You are becoming a parent. If you cannot commit to training and pouring all your love into a pup, then you're not ready. Not to mention, are you ready for the stress it comes with too? You can't just leave the house willynilly now, you have to plan your outings around your furbaby. You have to take them to get checkups. You have to feed them well. You are a parent! If you are ready to commit to all of that and then some, then welcome to pawrenthood! It's worth it. For dogs, anything and everything is worth it. They will make even your darkest days full of love. UGH, okay, it's time to get a dog. Maybe start by fostering? Who knows? But here you come, puppy looooove!
